My Favorite Color is …

Hi everybody, this is my first time writing on Dad’s blog.
In school these last two weeks we have been learning about colors. Each day we have worn a different color and then done activities with that color. Dad asked me last night what my favorite color was and I told him that I liked all the colors.
I also asked Dad and Mom what their favorite colors were and they told me. But, my question to the whole family is:
What is your favorite color? (Put your answer in the comments and I’ll read them later)
My favorite color is BYU Blue!
My favorite color is mauve (said like mowve, not mawve)
I like different colors at different times. Right now I like green

My favorite color is Green. In the past my favorite colors have been purple and black.
My favorite color is blue, but like AnnMarie, I have had other favorites in the past. When I was a teenager, and after my gramma (Mossey) died (she and I shared a room), my mom let me decorate my room the way I wanted and I chose purple. Actually, it was a medley of colors ranging from lavender to purple. I loved my room and can still see it in my memories. Like Michelle, I am a fan of mauve (like in mow-ve, not mahve). In fact, just got a brand new sweater that is the perfect mauve color.
I would have liked the color pink too, but I used to avoid wearing it thinking it did not look good on me. As an adult, I found out that pink with a blue tinge looks great on me, so I often buy things that color too, now-a-days.
But, my all time favorite color that I could wear day in and day out and have my whole house decorated in that color (much to Grampa’s dismay) would be blue. Why else would I marry a man in the Air Force????

I’m not family but, close enough. My favorite color is camouflage. And then Probably BYU Blue!
My favorite color changes also. When I was a girl it was pink, as a teenager a dark turquoise color called peacock. As a college student getting married, pastel blue and pastel pink. Right now I don’t really have a favorite, I usually like lighter colors.
Dal, my favorite color, since I was a little boy, has always been and will always be RED! Sorry, BYU and Kris but those are the facts.
My really favorite color is dark green. But lately I’ve begun to appreciate the color maroon. Maybe that’s because my high school colors were maroon and white? But the USC Trojans, one of my favorite football teams, colors are maroon and gold. I’ve owned a couple of cars in different shades of green, but have recently owned a maroon (actually a candy apple) red pick-up truck, and two convertibles that shade. So I guess my favorite color is really maroon!
