Gourmet Foods, a realistic definition

When we saw the supposed gourmet cuisine, it donned on us that what they really meant by gourmet food is this: little food for lots of money.
That’s just our take on it, granted, we haven’t experienced a lot of gourmet cooking, so consider the source.
