Crocodile Hunter goes to the big safari in the sky
By Kris | September 4th, 2006 1 Comment »I was saddened to read that Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, was killed today. Although I did think he was crazy, I tipped my hat to him because all he did was try to close the gap of fear between us humans and the animal kingdom. I’ll definitely miss his harrowing adventures and fearless stunts, but I don’t know if I’ll miss the goosebumps on my neck as he played with some deadly snake or the like.

I, too, was shocked to hear of Steve Irwin’s death. Although he appeared reckless on T.V., my understanding is that he and his crew always took safe precautions before shooting.
His passion will be missed. He devoted his life to something he cared deeply about. Can we all say the same thing?
